Happiness is a Haul!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!

Well, I know it's been ages but I thought today's events were blog-worthy.

I was at my local Priceline and there it was...a brand new Physician's Formula display!

If you watch US makeup gurus on youtube, esp faves like EmilyNoel82, you would have probably noticed that PF has a much larger range of products than were previously available in Australia.  Also, a lot of the packaging had changed.  I had already bought the Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner and Serum online and __loved it__

...So seeing it in a proper display really made me smile!

I couldn't help myself and bought the 'Happy Booster' Glow and Mood Boosting Blush (natural) and the Powder (light bronzer).

I've just tried the blush and it's a lovely soft pink.  Visible yet subtle.

As I said, the eyeliner is SPECTACULAR.  Totally non-irritating even though I've accidentally poked my eye a couple of times and always use it on my waterline.  Doesn't smudge at all but comes off easily with warm water when gently rubbed.  It's dark dark black (ultra black is the colour) and perfect.  And believe it or not, I actually do think it makes my eyelashes better - slightly thicker, longer and stronger.  It's my holy grail liquid eyeliner.  I have actually discarded all others.  Fo' real.

Yay!  We're making progress!

Quick Bit! -- Random product reviews

Australis Killer Curves Mascara

Bottom line:  Gosh I hope they don't discontinue this!!!  Holy grail (HG) material!!!!!!

Cost:  AUD$14.95 at Priceline (but carried at lots of chemists)

The Scoop:  I only use mascaras which remove with warm water (think Mireness, Blinc, Clinique Lash Power, L'Oreal Beauty Tubes et al).  This was something I saw by chance while hanging out at Priceline.  Thought I'd try it - never bought anything from the Australis range before.

This stuff is fantastic.  It has a plastic brush, separates lashes beautifully.  1 coat gives length and definition... a few more adds volume and more length.  WOW.  I'm in love.  It gives more 'oomph' than I would usually do for work...  but I'm willing to reassess that standard.  This goes on quickly.  Comes off very gently and rarely smudges despite long days.

So amazing I've already bought a backup.

Eyeko 3-in-1 Tinted Cream

Bottom line:  Not bad but takes practice to use

Cost:  USD$14.95- $18 (online - last purchased from CherryCulture)

The Scoop:  I'm loving the slightly bronzed/ glowing almost-tan look (bronzer instead of blush) at the moment and I've been looking for my HG product.

For me, the HG would be super fast to use and look natural.

The Eyeko tinted cream looks beautifully natural... but it takes practice to use.  It feels like a lovely, light cream in the jar but it dries very quickly which makes it hard to blend.  I try to rub it over the top of my moisturiser just before the former dries so the mix is a little more slippy - buying me more blending time.  I find the timing difficult to get right though - a problem I have with the lovely Benefit Posie-tint.  Too late and it's a bronze streak.  Too early and it blends entirely away.

I like it though.  And I think I wold buy it again but since I don't use it every day, I have no idea when that would be.  Also, the official Eyeko website only seems to sell 3 things nowadays so I have to get it from places like CrushCosmetics online... which makes me wonder if it's been discontinued :-/
