I'm not an American citizen but this election made me wish I was so I could also cast my vote for Barack Obama.I woke this evening after night shift to hear the news and am so thrilled. I feel so oddly emotional abt this election, as if I should ticker-tape my street and go around hugging ppl.
I'm thrilled the American public proved so many outside wrong - that they would vote for someone young, mixed race and anti-Iraq-war-continuance.
There's hope for us all.
